Here lies Martyn Bell...

at the bottom of a cravasse, and he's bloody annoyed!

So the cold hand of death will be placed upon my shoulder on the 30th September 2067, 34 days before a broken heart finishes off my beloved Lyla. If only my death was a bit more strighforward. What was I thinking, camping at the age of 80???

You scored as Disappear. Your death will be by disappearing, probably a camping trip gone wrong or an evening hike you never returned from. Always remeber that one guy who was hiking alone and got in a rock slide. He could have died, but he cut his own hand off to save himself. Don't end up like him (or worse, dead).

The joys of bulimia

So today I made myself sick for the first time ever. I toyed with the idea for quite a while, but in the end I thought it was for the best.

Paddy (my flatmate) and I decided to go for a curry, at which we had a few beers. After we went to the pub and I had a stout, thinking that the lack of bubbles would not make me feel as bloated, little did I know that the stout was as thick as tar!!! This made me feel incredibly full and bloated and at this point it was only 21:30 and I wanted a few more beers...so I made myself sick (in the toilet of course). The result was instant relief of all bloatedness and sickly feelings. This lead to me drinking more ale.

Result.

This is because I'm a cruel bastard - but I dare you not to laugh!

Sound is advised.

Meaningless thoughts running round my head can only amuse me for a short time...

...or so you may think. Today I was thinking why on earth coke tastes better in glass bottles? My next thought was why do so few places sell coke in glass bottles? This was closely followed by why can you not buy beer in plastic bottles?

This stumped me somewhat. I'm kind of assuming that plastic bottles are cheaper to produce than their glass counterparts, this explained the reasoning why most places stocked coke in plastic bottles. But then I thought, why the hell can you not buy beer in plastic bottles. I've bought cider in plastic bottles, whiskey in plastic bottles, but never beer. Why is this?

If someone could explain this to me it would be appreciated.
