First steps towards a visa

So I've just sent an email to the Canadian High Commission in London, asking them the best means for me to legally enter the country. So the wating game begins. I'm actually drinking Tim Horton's hot chocolate at the moment, I'm trying to embrace the 'culture', what more do they want?

    Good luck!

    I think student visas are the easiest to get...but then, of course, you have to pay tuition and, you know, study.

    Have you practiced singing the 'O Canada, our home and native land ... blah blah bah blah..' ya I don't really know all the words.

    Oh, are you also saying 'eh?' after each sip of that sweet sweet Tim Hortons. Blood of the Canadian Christ it is.
