This is not a retraction, just clarification

So it would appear that my last blog has upset some of my readership. Perhaps I have used some terms which some have found un-PC. I may agree with them, however, I will defend the right to use these terms. Offence, like beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. I have been in numerous occasions where I could have taken offence at people, but I choose not to - because people should be able to think and say what they like - even when I don't agree with what they say. However, if what they say or do breaks the law, then they should expect to face the consequences. I'm not deliberately trying to quote Life of Brian, but we are all individuals. Racism and other types of bigotry aren't just going to disappear. This is a shame, but it ain't going to happen. I'm not being negative here, just trying to be realistic.

Somehow I believe that the day when all of us on this fucked-up place we call earth can hold hands under a great big rainbow will never happen. Why? Because we like any other creature, come into conflict with one another from time to time. I don't want to be a fucking sheep, and do something because 'society' deems it to be 'correct'. Does this make me a bad person? I don't think it does, but others might. Could I give a shit? No.
