Another day, another building procurement book

It never rains but it pours. What is it with the weather in Wales? I thought that the weather back home in Carlisle was grim! It has cleared up now though. Damn weather.

Another thing...why is it that when you have all day to browse the internet you get bored within 10 minutes. It's a fountain of knowledge, if I so desired to build a nuclear bomb I could download a PDF file, with the exact instructions. Talking of instructions, my bed is now fit to be slept upon, hurrah (I hear you cry, L!) The really great thing about it is that it is soo comfy. Though as you said L, it is a virgin bed, but only because you won't come to visit me in Wales.

Work is slow today, most of my weekly tasks were completed yesterday, the rest of them completed about by 10am this morning, leaving me twiddling my thumbs like an autistic gorilla. I'm waiting on others to do work so I can have some more to do, that way I can stop reading Building Procurement by Alan Turner. What has happened to all the books written on construction since 1990? I feel as though I now know all there is on quantity surveying in the mid-80s!

Must go shopping tonight, I have no food and there is still no tin opener! Although my eating habits have changed quite considerably within the last three years or so, I still maintain that you can have a balanced diet eating only produce that is packaged in tins. I might investigate that further and make a documentary.

Tis true, you have a virgin bed and it won't see action for a while...but at least its comfy and doesn't have springs to poke you...oh wait, maybe those weren't springs

    Perhaps it was a rod?
