A long wait
So I had an interview last Monday for an estate agent job in Warrington, it went well and I think the job would be OK, so I'll have to wait and see. However, I shall go on about my venture into Wales last Tuesday and Wednesday. This is a job that I applied for in April....for crying out loud that was four months ago....four pissin' months....they best give me the job. Grrr to them if they don't.
So anyway, my first mission was to find my bed and breakfast which was quite a way out of Bangor (a small, shitty, piss poor town in North Wales.) This I acheived with great success, well done Martyn. My next mission was to actually prepare two presentations for my interview, this I did not achieve with great success, but they went well on the day so I suppose that's all that matters.
Woke up and had a nice cooked breakfast on the sun terrace with a nice view of the sea and the surrounding countryside. Very nice.
So I got to the hotel where the interview was ebing held at about 9:30am, and within 10 minutes or so the interview had begun. It was very informal and we were told that we could take our ties off if we so pleased, nobody else took theirs off so, alas, mine also stayed on. Fun games ensued, but I shall not bore you with the details. The lunch consisted of a very nice finger buffet, and sixty minutes, so that was also very good. As was the fact that straight after our presentations the interview was finished, an hour earlier than scheduled. I then made my way back to Liverpool. All in all it went very well and I believe I deserve the job, I should know later this week if I have it or not. Fingers crossed.
I don't really have much else to bore you with. Sorry.
